Persons accessing Press Manor Fishing Lakes do so at their own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any accident and/or injury to person’s vehicles or possessions, whilst on the premises. It is the person’s responsibility to ensure they are protected and are aware of the dangers of fishing before entering the site.
All fished to be returned immediately and carefully to the lake.
For Bio Security - All landing nets, keep-nets and un-hooking mats must be bone dry before fishing.
Keep nets are permitted from 1st September until 31st March - No carp in nets.
All litter to be taken home. Let us know if you peg is NOT clear of litter on arrival.
2 rods maximum.
Maximum speed for cars is 5mph and no driving on or off the fishery at night.
Cars to be parked responsibly allowing free access.
Courtesy to all other anglers; no loud radios, open fires, disposable barbeques, swimming, or heavy drinking. The highest standard of behaviour is expected from all.
Night Tickets must be booked in advance- do not turn up to do a night session without speaking to me or Brian to book on. If you haven’t booked on you will be asked to leave, no exceptions.
Carp are not to be lifted above knee height at any time.
Bait Bans: no nuts, beans of any kind.
Barbless hooks only.
No lead core, fixed leads, or snag leaders.
Coated Braid Hook Lengths are permitted.
Carp Anglers use thick un-hooking mats, and 36inch Landing Nets.
No Bait Boats.
No Keep sacks to be brought onto the venue.
If you are opposite an angler, you must cast no further than half way across the lake.
No Guests or visitors (except Wives and Girlfriends £5.00 fee).
No vehicles are to be driven at night.
Random rig checks please do not be offended if asked.
Remember these rules only exist to ensure the welfare of the Carp, and the consistency of your sport, please report anyone in breach of the rules.
